Keith Richner graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art with a BFA in Illustration and worked in the Cleveland, Ohio film community for almost a decade. Richner has lent his diverse set of skills, ranging from musical composer to visual effects artist, to a number of film projects including both shorts and theatrical features. The film projects he has worked on have screened in festivals, such as the Cleveland International Film Festival, and won numerous awards including four Telly Awards and two first place finishes in the Cleveland 48 Hour Film Festival in the categories of Best Original Score and Best Actress. Recently, Richner completed his MFA at the Columbus College of Art and Design, which culminated in the completion of a five-minute film. The film, entitled The Bridge, consists of both live-action and animation and was his solo directorial debut.
Keith is currently employed by the Ohio Film Group as a lead artist as well as an adjunct faculty member at the Columbus College of Art & Design teaching Zbrush and Maya courses.
